A St Johns River Airboat Tour

This is by far the best Florida experience we have had in a long time. Florida is so much more than the house-of-mouse and this experience will solidify that. Captain Mike was our pilot and guide, and worked hard to make sure we were entertained and educated. Capt. Mike is a 5th generation Floridan and will bestow on you a wealth of knowledge and information on all things you will encounter on the ride. We saw many animals and some beautiful scenery. The ride was as exhilarating as you want and he is careful with first-time passengers. Experiences are influenced by time of day, year and weather of course, and we were able to get off and enjoy some of the "dry land" which included guava trees. We will be back and I highly recommend anyone visiting Florida (or local) make this experience a priority. It may be a bit more than other tour rides and this is far more individualized and personable. Max is 6 passengers which means a family gets great memories. I recommend wearing glasses / sun glasses as you will run into bugs at speed. No hats and hearing protection was provided. Wow! Many thanks for the great experience!

My family and I took my mother out for an airboat tour with St. John's River Airboat Tour and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had! Big thank you to our captain who gave us the most enjoyable tour!

We flew over water, wetlands and even dry land! I wasn't aware that airboats could go over land but you learn something new everyday. In this area of central Florida, the cows walk out to the various islands so there are lots of sweet faces munching away as you zoom around the river. There are also a lot of alligators too!

Our tour included seeing many beautiful areas of the river in addition to an eagles nest, alligator den and an Indian mound.

The boat was extremely well kept. Ear protection was provided! And the prices were excellent!

We all can't wait to go back!

0Best airboat rides in and around Orlando! I've done two trips with Capt Mike and each one was amazing and different. The last time, I took two friend who were visiting Florida for the first time from Boise. THEY LOVED IT! The tour takes you across the diverse ecosystem of the st John's river, from the open plains with cattle, to the Tosohatchee wildlife area filled with sky high cypress trees. Capt Mike made several stops to discuss the environment and teach us about the animals and ecosystem.

Along the trip we saw: Roseate spoonbills, bald eagles, turtles, osprey, cranes, and... oh yeah, TONS OF ALLIGATORS! Mike really had a keen eye and was able to spot animals from a distance, which made the experience all the more rewarding.

I've gone through two other companies for tours, and this is by far the best and most convenient for those in orlando. I plan on doing a night tour eventually.

We got so lucky to find Captain Mike and his wife Deni, you can't find better people. Captain Mike was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the land - and gave us one hell of a ride. Smiles were painted on our faces. Their boat is not one of the large 15 person tour boats but if you have a small group and are looking for a personal experience then they are your people.

We saw a ton of gators (plus many beautiful birds and even bald eagles), took hairpin turns, and learned all about the ecosystem. 5 stars for sure.

So, of course my family was here from CA last week when it was non stop rain, wind and cold. The one time of the year here in FL. We didn't get to go on our airboat ride due to the weather. The reason why I'm giving 5 stars for an experience we weren't able to make happen is because of the excellent customer service. The staff stayed in contact with me several days in a row right up until one hour before our tour. If there was any way to make this a safe and awesome experience for my family, this crew would have done it. Safety is their priority. Awesomeness being there second. While my family didn't get to go, you can bet I'm going as soon as it warms up. Thank you for the outstanding customer service! Can't wait for my actual ride.

Mike was incredible. There are lots of airboats on the water, but this guy is the real deal. He took me and my son out to places he's been visiting since he was a boy. He knows every inch, and also knew where to safely find the gators so us Californians could have a look. We really enjoyed this experience.

We visited December of 2018 and we had an amazing time. It was our stop after spending a week at Walt Disney World and right before getting on a cruise ship. This was definitely the highlight of our Christmas/New Years vacation! Mike was incredibly kind and very knowledgeable. He made sure that we felt safe at all times and made it extremely exciting for the kids. Being from California and never experiencing anything like this before it sure was a memorable adventure. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you Mike for a wonderful memory.

We really enjoyed our tour. We got to see lots of alligators, flamingos, herons, and great scenery.
