Anniversary of Bike Trails Opening to Feature Escorted Rides and Scrub Jay Festival - February 23rd

Titusville, January 29, 2019 - Gear Up. Ride It DOWN! Spokes and Scrub Jays, which will celebrate the anniversary of the opening of the multi-use trails converging in North Brevard and the celebration of the Florida Scrub Jay Festival, will take place on February 23, 2019 in Titusville. Activities will include: live entertainment, food and bike rides of varying lengths led by VIPs.

The day will begin with registration and breakfast. Bikers can choose any route, from 10 to 40 miles. Bike rides start at 9:00 AM and leave from Titusville to the Volusia-Brevard County line and back to the Welcome Center. Bikes will be available for rent during the event; reservation can be made with Coast to Coast Bicycle Company at doug@biketitusville.com or 321-607-6208.

Riders will return to the Titusville Welcome Center and enjoy food vendors, family fun, special presentations, guided hikes, live music and vendors, as part of the free Scrub Jay Festival. Bus trips to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge to see the scrub jays will be available.
